He has not been silent
God has already been good to you.
He answered. He provided. He spoke, and you knew it was Him. Then the week turned over, and by spring you could not have told anyone what He did.
Jesus did not leave His people to remember Him by willpower. He gave them bread, and a cup, and said do this in remembrance of Me. Remembering is something you do. Ebenezer is somewhere to do it.

Why this matters
Forgetting is venom to a relationship.
Relationships are built by remembering. Confidence is laid down the way a wall is: one recalled kindness at a time, until there is something solid under you when the weather turns.
So God kept telling His people to build things. Piles of rock at the Jordan. A feast every year. A jar of manna in the ark. Not because He is forgetful. Because we are.
Forget the good and nothing is being built at all. The next hard season arrives, and finds nothing underneath you.
He did it before. He has not changed toward me.
Israel did not drift because God stopped acting. They drifted because they stopped remembering, until a generation grew up who did not know the LORD nor the work which He had done for Israel.
A remembered mercy is an argument you can use on yourself at two in the morning. It is how trust stays standing when the next thing comes.
This app has one job. Remind you of His faithfulness, and help you remember that God is not silent.

Jesus gave His church a physical, repeated act of remembering. Not a feeling. A thing you do.

A lifetime of them, piled in one place
Every stone is laid on one ground, in the order you laid it. It starts as a single rock on bare earth. A year in, it is a cairn you can stand in front of and read. Ten years in, it is the account of a life, the one thing you own that grows more valuable the longer you keep it.
No two altars rise the same way, because no two lives have been carried the same way. You decide what is laid down and what is left out, so what stands there is only what you know to be true. And that is the quiet gift of it: come back a year later and the pile itself is the argument, stone after stone of a God who kept showing up for you by name. Touch one and the day it belongs to opens again.

Scripture that found you, a dream, a vision, something said by another believer, a circumstance that could not have been arranged, or the gentle whisper after the wind and the fire.
Write it, or speak it and keep the recording. Later, never at the moment and never required, you may shape it: give it a name, a meaning, a silhouette, a material.

The whole Bible sits on the device: book, chapter, reader, no network. Write Psalm 103:2 in a stone and the reference becomes a link. Open that chapter months later and the verse is marked, because a stone of yours rests on it.

Shut the door and go to Him
"But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place." Just you and the Lord, unhurried, with Scripture open and nowhere else to be. Whatever He says in that room can be laid down as a stone, and the stone remembers where it was given.

What passes between you and God belongs to the two of you, so the altar stays on your device unless you deliberately turn sync on. Intimacy needs a closed door more than it needs an audience. Nothing counts you either: no badges, no scores, no one to be measured against, because a walk with God is not a contest. And nothing here writes, suggests or paraphrases spiritual content; the app only holds back up what He gave you.

Why the name
Ebenezer means stone of help. Samuel set it down not as a monument to a victory but as an answer to forgetting, so that anyone walking past would have to ask what it was for.
Thus far the LORD has helped us. Not a boast about the battle, but a mark on the ground where help arrived. That sentence is the whole brief. This is an app for keeping it sayable.
